Sumbangsih Mulia
Sumbangsih Mulia was built by a prominent businessman to support His Majesty's call for private sectors to support and assist the development of local small and medium entrepreneurs. The building is located in Beribin, the latest building established in the Beribin Industrial Area in Gadong.
Conveniently located on top of a hill, the new building has a huge parking space for the convenience of the customers along with basic facilities such as supply of clean water and electricity, surau (prayer room), hall and public restrooms.
The new building is spacious and can house more than 100 stalls in its open area which offers a variety of stalls selling food and beverages. Inside the building, you will find stalls selling handicraft items, in particular "Jong Sarat" - the golden thread woven material. On the first floor, you will find the cottage industry where Jong Sarat is in the making. There is also a stall offering local batik.
Business starts at 7.00am until 7.00 or 8.00pm but some stalls may close earlier if their items are sold-out. The peak time is during lunch hour where most people flock to eat lunch here.
