Temburong National Park Escapade - MBF03

Join this mild adventure, a nature escapade tour to rejuvenate in the tropical rainforest of Ulu Temburong National Park. Prepare to get wet when travelling upstream in a long boat, against the rapids. Enjoy the serenity and panoramic view from the canopy.

The tour starts with a pick-up from the hotel.  Transfer to the jetty and go for a 45 minute boat ride in a water taxi to Bangar town.

Upon arrival at the jetty in Bangar town, you will be transferred to Batang Duri in a vehicle.  A briefing on safety measures will be given and morning coffee and tea will be served before you continue your journey to Ulu Temburong National Park.

Embark a local iban long boat - "Tamuai" to go upstream.  The boat ride will take about 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the water level.  You might need to get off the boat and help to push the long boat during low water level season.

Arrive at the national park registration centre to register and then proceed for the nature trek and canopy walk adventure.   Enjoy the serenity of a tropical rainforest view on top of the canopy walkway, and then return back to the base.

If water level permits, you will be brought for a short nature trek to a waterfall nearby.  Dip in the cool nature enclave pool and enjoy the sound of cicadas with waterfalls drizzling in the background.  After this, transfer back by Tamuai to the terminal house to get changed and enjoy your local lunch by the river.  Relax or partake in the optional "Flying Fox" activity before being transferred back to Bangar town to catch your water taxi back to Bandar Seri Begawan. 

Your ends with a transfer back to the hotel.
