The tour provides guests with an authentic local home cooking experience. Guests visit the local market where housewives purchase raw material needed for daily family needs. Guests also have the opportunity to help in preparing lunch and mingle with the host's family members and learn about the way of life for the local Bruneians.

Itinerary
Guests are picked up from their hotels and the guide takes them to a local wet market where they observe how housewives purchase raw material needed for preparing a family meal.
Then, guests are transferred to a local host's home, where they meet the entire family. Guests are welcome to extend a helping hand in preparing lunch for the day in the kitchen. After lunch, there is time to mingle with the family and, perhaps, exchange some recipes.
Payment & Deposit:
- 20% non-refundable deposit required for booking made outside 72 hours prior to departure date.
- Full Payment required at least 48 hours prior to departure date.
All confirmed bookings will be auto-released in instances where the full payment is not received and cleared. Any re-instatement of bookings will be subjected to space availability.
Cancellation and No-show policy:
- Outside 72 hours prior to departure date - 20% cancellation fee will be applicable.
- Within 48 hours but outside 24 hours prior to departure date - 50% cancellation fee will be applicable.
- Within 24 hours prior to departure date - 100% cancellation fee will be applicable.
- No show - 100% of the total amount will be chargeable.
No refund / discount will be given in part or full for any items not utilized either by choice or circumstance once the tours has commenced.
Children Policy
- Children below 2 years old are complimentary but must travel together with an adult.
Participant Guidelines
The host families are not a commercial entity, the host families are locals of Brunei with different ethnic backgrounds. Please pay respect to the local custom and culture.
Guests are expected to take off their shoes when entering the house of local people.
