This tour takes guests to the oil town of Brunei where they can witness the life and activities in the oil and gas producing town of Seria.
In 1929, the British Malayan Petroleum Company first discovered oil on the shore of this significant town. In 1991, BSP built a Billionth Barrel Monument near the original site of Well No 1 to commemorate the achievement of the billionth barrel of oil produced from the Seria oil field.
To show the commitment of Brunei Shell towards education and sustainable development, the Oil and Gas Discovery Centre was built to showcase science and engineering work. Till today, activities in Seria and Kuala Belait towns are very much related to the oil and gas industry.
